PRP for Arthritis
PRP injections are used to treat arthritis, tendonitis, partial muscle tears and rotator cuff injuries. When injected into the joint, PRP has been shown to heal inflammation, small tears, and erosions.
Athletes, bodybuilders, and those experiencing age- and illness-related muscle muscular weakness can also benefit from PRP. Dr. Brouk uses a combination of Shockwave technology and PRP therapy to enhance the results.
Micrografting by Regenera Activa is a new procedure especially effective in treating stages 1-2 arthritis with cartilage loss. To trigger cartilage restoration, Dr. Brouk removes a tiny cartilage sample from the ear, extracts its stem cells (progenitor cells), liquifies the cells, and then injects the solution into the knee joint.
Conditions treated:
Arthritis (knees, shoulders, elbows)
Tendonitis
Plantar fasciitis
Muscle, tendon , rotator cuff injuries
Muscle enhancement for muscle weakness, atrophy, and asymmetry.
